"Royal Coach"

According to patent information, the "Royal Coach" was designed as a face powder container by A. E. Sierad. The patent application was filed on November 6, 1930, and rights were assigned to the George W. Button Corporation of New York. The coach has a rectangular base with its two ends curved slightly upward. The lid sports a crown finial and has only been found in black. The various colors for the base include black, green satin, pink satin and green transparent. Some of the satin jars may be found with gold trim. This large heavy glass powder jar is 7" long, 3.5" wide and 5.75" high.
