"Babs II" Powder Jar
Babs_II_cob"Babs II" is a slightly smaller version of the three-footed "Babs I" jar shown in the previous photos. This jar has a stippled top and base and was made by the L. E. Smith Glass Company of Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania. It is 4.25" in diameter. This style base is shared with several other animal and human finial shapes. The jar is found in cobalt transparent, crystal satin, green satin and pink satin. The cobalt color is elusive and is an unusual color for most figural powder jars.
