Jeannette "Bambi" Powder Jar

This small deer powder jar, dubbed "Bambi" by collectors, was made by the Jeannette Glass Company from the 1930's through the 1950's. Many of these jars were sold to various distributors of cosmetics and candy. They were retailed by various "five and tens" around the country. "Bambi" is frequently found in crystal, transparent pink and marigold iridescent. Crystal satin with an enameled decoration and sample Shell Pink jars have also been found.
