"Fenton Art Glass Hobnail Pattern Identification and Value Guide"
The Fenton Art Glass Company of Williamstown, West Virginia, began producing Hobnail items in several shapes as a special order for other companies during the 1930's. The pattern seemed popular so Hobnail was introduced into the Fenton General Line in opalescent colors in 1940. Since that time Hobnail has been made in many colors and shapes. This book groups similar items by category, such as, baskets, bowls, candles, lamps, pitchers, vases, vanity items, etc. Pieces from the Fenton General Line, as well as special order items for entities like the Fenton Gift Shop, Levay Distributing and QVC are included. Each piece is described, priced and dated. A photograph showing at least one color of each shape is included. This book includes 225 pages of information about Fenton's Hobnail pattern. It describes over 400 shapes of Hobnail items, many made in numerous colors, and includes over 600 pictures. There is no other single reference that combines all of Fenton's Hobnail production. This book specializes in describing all shapes and colors of the entire Fenton Hobnail production from the late 1930's to the present.
The price is $32.95 postpaid for an autographed copy from the authors.
